Greetings and salutations, lovebugs!!
I launched the Facebook group for this project last week, and so much AWESOME STUFF has already happened! Come join us! It’s fun!!
I am still working on blending things together more effectively, but I’m having a lot of fun working with the prompts. And, full disclosure, I had a weird week this week and did most everything yesterday. No one came to arrest me 😉 It’s totally ok to do them a bit each day or all in one day or store up prompts for a month and go on a mad frenzy! <3
Prompts week 2:
Draw something you’re afraid of. Bonus points if you make it absurd
Try to find a new way to use your supplies.
Three things on your bucket list
Big man, little hat.
So! Here’s my whole spread for this week:
More chaos. It gives me hearts in my eyes.
First, I drew Big Man, Little Hat. I used Tombows, which I don’t use much (need to change that), and blended it out with stabilo and gesso, which I’ve never done. So, new to me!
You can see some politicky stuff there on the right – I did some politicky stuff last week too. It’s helping me stay sane. The rose-headed girl is from my Fool tarot card – I had some failed prints in my collage box so decided to throw her in there.
I’ve been holding onto that “Sorry, Ms. Jackson” cartoon for probably close to a year. Makes me laugh. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I like to include stuff like this – a special treat for future me.
I painted this chickadee with the color scheme of the week, made it my “something you’re afraid of”.
This is my bucket list. HA! It’s on a bucket!! There is some stitching underneath the bucket, but I neglected to include it (you can see it on the first picture). I also threw in my little demon dudes and a printout of this month’s patreon coloring page
I like to include the highlights or lowlights of the week somewhere in there. All highlights this week! WOO!! I also threw on a funny tweet and some yoga girls I found in a magazine. Random random random.
That’s it for me!! I hope you have an awesome week and find your way over to the Facebook group to join in the fun!
